The new Aspire X30 Rover is a powerful 'box mod' style e cigarette with adjustable power. The X30 Rover kit includes a powerful NX30 box mod and compatible Nautilus X tank with pre-installed coil.
The X30 Rover measures around 10 cm tall, 6 cm wide and under 2.5 cm deep when assembled and ready to use. The built-in rechargeable battery has a high 2000 mAh capacity and features adjustable power (VW - variable wattage).
Available in black, silver, blue and red.
A Nautilus X 4 ml extension kit is available separately increasing the e liquid capacity of the tank from 2 to 4 ml.
Aspire X30 Rover user guide
The kit is extremely easy to operate. All you ever need to do is fill with e liquid, recharge the built-in battery, and change the coil when needed.
Filling with e liquid - Simply unscrew the top of the tank and squeeze in your e liquid before replacing the top. Depending on the e liquid you use there is plenty of space to drip, pour or squeeze drops of the e liquid into the tank. The first time When you first use your tank or change the coil wait five minutes after filling to allow the e liquid to absorb fully into the coil (called ‘priming the coil’) to prevent damage and unpleasant ‘dry hits’.
Turning on and off - Press the fire button five times in a row within two seconds at the start and end of your vaping session to turn the device on and off.
Adjusting the power - With the NX30 you can adjust the power output. This affects the amount of heat generated by the coil. This in turn will have an effect on the amount of vapour produced and its temperature, the flavour delivered and the ‘throat hit’ that you experience. You can also adjust the power to take shorter or longer inhales but still create the same amount of vapour. The recommended range when used with the supplied Nautilus X tank and 1.8 Ω resistance coil is between 12 and 16 watts. You will get the best lifespan from your 1.8 Ω coils at 12 – 16 watts. Any higher and the coil will burn out faster. Any lower and the coil will not fire as easily with less effective vapour production. We generally recommend to start low and gradually increase until you are satisfied. All coils have the recommended wattage rating etched on the side so you can’t go wrong. Simply use the + and – buttons to adjust the power output to your preferred level, displayed in watts (W) on the screen.
How to vape - Just place the mouthpiece between your lips and slowly draw in breath (for up to 10 seconds) whilst pressing the fire button.
Charging - A battery indicator on the side of the display screen indicates how much battery power remains so that you know when to recharge. There is a micro USB port on the side of the NX30. Connect this to a USB port or mains adaptor using the cable provided to charge.
Changing the coil - When you start to see a reduction in vapour it is time to change the coil. Remove the tank from the NX30 when empty, unscrew the top and then the coil screws directly into the base of the tank. Just remove the existing coil and replace it with a new one. When you refill with e liquid remember to ‘prime the coil’ again (waiting five minutes before first use)
Aspire X30 Rover contents
NX30 box mod e cigarette
Nautilus X tank
Nautilus X 1.8 Ω resistance coil (pre-installed)
USB charging cable
Replacement pyrex glass tube
Durable - The X30 Rover has a durable aluminium housing and the tank is made from pyrex glass and stainless steel
Box mod - The box mod is the main unit which features the controls, a display screen and contains a built-in rechargeable battery. Mod (for ‘modification’) devices are generally more powerful than other types of e cigarette. They also provide the user with controls to adjust the settings to suit their preferences. The box mod included in the Aspire X30 Rover Kit is called the ‘NX30’ (short for Nautilus X 30)
High capacity battery - The NX30 has a high 2000 mAh capacity built-in battery. This measures how much energy it can store at one time. Higher capacities last longer before needing to recharge. The rechargeable battery is LiPo (Lithium Polymer). LiPo batteries are light in weight, have higher capacities and higher discharge rates than other types of battery (they ‘pack more punch’)
Adjustable power - In vaping the battery power affects the amount of heat produced by the coil in the tank, which converts the e liquid into the vapour that you inhale NX30 battery power The NX30 battery can output between 1 and 30 watts of power. This is the normal range for a compact box mod and ideal for regular vapers Adjustable power You can control the power output using the VW (variable wattage) mode to suit your vaping preferences.
High quality tank - The X30 Rover kit includes a ‘Nautilus X’ tank, which simply screws into the top of the NX30 box. The tank can hold up to 2 ml of e liquid – the maximum allowed under UK and EU regulations.
Top airflow - The Nautilus X tank produces high amounts of vapour by using a wide mouthpiece combined with a large ‘top airflow’ design.
Adjustable airflow - You can adjust the airflow by turning a ring below the mouthpiece to open or close the vents. Opening the vents will draw in more air and produce more vapour.
Top fill - You fill the tank from the top, so you do not need to remove it from the rest of the device or turn it upside down. This is much easier and cleaner than base-filling tanks.
Replaceable Coil - A coil (or ‘atomizer’) is the part of your e cigarette inside the tank that heats up the e liquid, producing the vapour that you inhale. The X30 Rover Kit comes with a standard Nautilus X coil pre-installed in the tank. The coil has a 1.8 ohm (or Ω) resistance. This is suitable for regular vaping, producing plenty of vapour and a mild ‘throat hit’ (the sensation you feel when you inhale nicotine).
U-Tech - Nautilus X coils feature ‘U-Tech’. Vapour passes the coils twice via a U-shaped chamber, improving the airflow and enhancing the flavour produced.
Stealth mode - Press the fire button 3 times quickly to activate or deactivate stealth mode. The display screen will then switch on or off for discrete vaping.
Screen rotation - Press the + and – buttons simultaneously for two seconds to rotate the screen - so that you can read it easily whether you vape using your left or right hand.
Control lock - Press fire and – together to lock the controls so that you do not accidentally activate the device or change settings when switched on. Repeat to unlock.
Safety features - The X30 Rover Kit has all of the safety features you would expect – protection from short circuits, overheating, over charging, over discharges and auto cut-off.
Replacement pyrex - The kit also includes a spare pyrex glass tube for the tank which is easy to change should the original become worn or break.
Lanyard strap - The X30 Rover kit includes a lanyard strap that connects to the e cigarette so that you can wear it around your neck or tie to your wrist or bag and securely take with you wherever you go.
